Hi! My name is Gem and I’ve been photographing weddings on the Island since 2012. Over the years I have had the privilege of capturing the stories of over 100 couples. Every single wedding is different and unique to the couple, but one thing that never changes is how much I love being there for all the little moments that make your day yours.
Your wedding is about you. It’s about marrying the person you love, being surrounded by all your favourite people, laughing until your cheeks hurt and shedding some happy tears. I’m there to capture all of that in a natural, candid way.
My approach is relaxed, natural and very much “a fly on the wall” kind of photographer; capturing the genuine moments, emotions and little details as they unfold naturally. The most important part is that you are comfortable, and I’ll give you gentle guidance when you need it but for the
most part, I want your photos to feel like you, rather than a collection of poses.
I like to think of myself as an extra bridesmaid with a camera! If a button needs doing, a dress needs fluffing or just an extra pair of hands - I’m more than happy to help! I’ve even stretched out a pair of bridal shoes before so the bride was comfortable walking down the aisle!

My advice on the day would be to take a minute, just the two of us; as the day can whiz so fast!
