My name is Fiona and I started The Crafty Cat in November 2025. I wanted to give everyone, from young children to adults the opportunity to make art and crafts in a dedicated studio. I was delighted when I found my studio on Douglas Road in Ballasalla. The studio is flooded with natural light and full to the brim with art and crafts materials and equipment. We have space for up to 12 participants who all sit together around our repurposed boardroom table.
Hen Parties
The Crafty Cat is the perfect location for your hen party as we have over 30 different arts and crafts available to choose from. We have recently introduced the Bead Bar. This is stocked with thousands of beads to make jewellery and bag charms.
You can bring your own food and fizz to get you in the party mood. We also work closely with The Quirky Teapot who can deliver an afternoon tea to enjoy while you are creating. You are guaranteed to have lots of fun, make something to keep (or laugh at), and enjoy the stress relieving benefits of making something with your hands.
Kids Crafts at your Wedding
We also provide craft kits to keep children entertained at your wedding. These are tailored by age groups and do not include anything messy. If you are inviting a lot of children to your wedding the team from The Crafty Cat can set-up a crafting station at your reception and entertain your guests throughout the day. You can customise this to suit the number and ages of your littlest guests!
Wedding Trees
We are the sole providers of 'Wedding Trees' on the Island. This is a fully facilitated service where we bring a canvas with a pre-painted tree, coloured ink pads and an easel. Your guests are then invited to add their fingerprints to the canvas. This activity is fully supported by one of our artists who will be patient with your guests while ensuring that everyone adds their fingerprint. After the wedding it will be varnished and returned to you.

After your wedding I can hand embroider your wedding bouquet.
